This was painted in Francoise’s house in Hyverneresse in France and her home in Chicago.  We met at the Chicago Art Fair where I was exhibiting in 1983.  We still laugh about my cancelling a trip to Canada to have brunch with Francoise and her husband Bernie.  They are still great friends.
